Pursuant to the New Alliance Agreement, Renault Group has the option to sell the remainder of the 180,447,100 Nissan shares that have not been bought back by Nissan, during a 180-day period to Nissan or to third-parties.
こちらの英文を直訳しますと「ルノーグループは180日以内に残り1.8億株を日産か第三者に売却するオプションを持っている」となり、日産側が180日以内に買い取る義務が生じているという意味合いでは無いように思えます。
ただ、どんどん買い取っていかないと、ルノー（フランス政府）に日産の配当金が渡り続けることになってしまいますね。
